The starting theme of this year's statehood celebration was the climate and environmental crisis and the question of how we can think about the relationship between nature and statehood. The premise of the creative process of the authors of the celebration program is that statehood, which in the past was usually established through national history and culture, will in the future also have to be justified through a revalued relationship to nature due to the climate crisis.

The texts are signed by Irena Štaudohar, Ph.D. Tomaž Grušovnik and Žiga Kump, under the video of Jasna Hribernik, Špela Kožar and Nejc Trampuž, Matej Vranič's nature recordings are also particularly valuable.

The artistic part of the celebration featured singers Zvezdana Novaković, Nina Strnad, Raiven, Boštjan Dermol, Ana Bezjak, Matevž Šalehar – Hamo, Masayah and Magnifico, actors Jana Zupančič, Tina Resman, Matevž Sluga and Filip Štepec, dancers choreographed by Žigan Krajnčana, music band led by Matija Krečič, male octet and youth choir of RTV Slovenia.

The flag bearers, ensigns and bearers of the battle flags of the Slovenian Army, the Slovenian Police and veteran and patriotic societies, as well as the Police Orchestra and the Guard of the Slovenian Army also took part in the celebration.
