Allegories - fragments is a performance with an emphasis on the specifics of the depiction of the twelve months, where the physicality and sculptural nature of the dance language will be highlighted. Even before the beginning of our era, the threefold image of the months was definitively established in literature: as a natural, working rhythm, as a rhythm determined by deified, astral forces and as a rhythm of the gods present on earth, whom man worships (Ovid, Verius Flak...) .
This triple image of the months will be discussed in relation to genre depictions from the history of cycles within literary and artistic paradigms from the antika to the Renaissance. In places, the project will refer to the liturgy of the celebration and the theme of the brilliant image of the months and natural personifications, which were marked by celebrations and rituals. The fragmentary nature of the performance is manifested in the arrangement of images, deities and attributes. The scenes are divided into sets according to the seasons and drive the story, turning time in the sequence of months and years: harvest, harvesting, autumn sowing or images by the spinning mill alternate with motifs of hunting and rest. From domestic genre scenes, spaces of vitae contemplativa arise, which befriends December, the month of sharp contrasts and images, which is represented mainly without work motifs.
