2015 November - Salzburg / Austria
In November 2015 Etienne Guilloteau created production on the occasion of the festival DIALOGE in Salzburg. For this project Etienne worked together with Alain Franco on a ‘History of Time’ in music. This history is made of durations, textures, repetitions, suspensions, continuities is framing the space of the performers. The dancers are confronting their own layers of history and sense of time with the musical architecture. Wandering memories becoming, at the corner of a path, as vivid and relevant as the present and let appear a part of our innermost self. A piece that shows what our ‘Times’ are made of.
Guilloteau creates the choreography with eight dancers of BODHI project from the Salzburg based dance school SEAD, which has established itself as one of the most important European training centres for contemporary dance. The piece is based on music of Beat Furrer, Morton Feldman and W.A. Mozart and will be executed live by oenm (Österreichisches Ensemble für Neue Musik).
